4 stars (amen) - this book is a great read. once you get started you cant put it down. spiritual warfare is real!!! 5 stars (This is Truth) - Francis Fragipane is the most talented, gifted, and inspired Christian author alive today. He speaks a deep Truth, which is extremely challenging. This book is not for lightweights or those who are looking to become a Christian. It is a book for those people who are fearless in the pursuit of Truth. You must value freedom from deceit more than anything else to fully benefit from this book. Those who are under deceit, and wish to remain that way, should not read this book. This book will tear apart deceit and reveal the demons who rest inside of it. The demons will tell you to throw the book in a fire, and reject everything it says. This book is the demon's enemy. It is the friend of Jesus, who is the source for all Truth. 2 stars (Perpetuates common misunderstandings of Spirtual Warfare) - I read this book some years ago. And while there may be some usable content, the book contains a common misconception about spiritual warfare. Modern spirtual warfare teaching is correct in that we are in a battle. But we have to know who we are fighting against, what our weapons are and where this battle takes place. First, whom are we fighting and where? There is no doubt that we are in a battle against pricipalities, powers, etc, but where do we fight them? Are there any scriptures that give us permission to pull down spirits over whole cities? No, there are none. Second, it is interesting that in EVERY case where spiritual warfare is mentioned in the New Testament, it is always connected to our MIND...our thoughts! The primary way satan and his cohorts affect the Christian is through his or her mind. You do not have to get into an airplane and ascend to 30,000 feet in order to do "warfare" with the devil. He is already defeated. The only weapon satan can use against anyone is D-E-C-E-P-T-I-O-N. This is why the renewing of ou... 5 stars (Warfare Incorporated) - While the game was a spectacular bargain, it took over a week and several e-mails to get the access code to work. The one shipped with it would not even activate the downloaded version. The only additions I would suggest to the game is a "stand ground" feature for the units, as well as additional levels. It only took me a week of occasional play to finish all the levels. But with all that said, I would recommend it to anyone who likes realtime strategy games, and only has a PDA to play on. It is a must have game for all PDA players. 5 stars (High quality, addictive game play, as good as any PC game) - I spend a lot of time trapped -- on the train, in airports, waiting for late starting meetings -- and I've bought a lot of PDA software to pass the time, for work and for fun. This game, however, leaves all others behind. Someone has finally ported a *great* PC game to PDA so that it keeps all it's best qualities. The graphics are outstanding, the replay factor is wonderful, and fans are constantly building new adventures that they conveniently post on the Harndmark website in the Warefare Inc forum. You can download these new scenarios for free. It's endless and addictive fun, and you'll find yourself looking for reasons to be stuck in line somewhere. My biggest condern when I bought this game was the learning curve. Some more complex games have a high learning curve and you have to find out how to play nearly by accident. However, Handmark anticipated this problem, and the first few scenarios are designed specifically to teach you how everything works. In fact, it's one of the most fun tutorials I've ever encounterd. It makes learning the game as much fun as playing it, and you don't have to read any user's guides to get going. As you progress and want to explore new game strategies, you can visit the Handmark website forum for the game and check archived messages for help or tips, or start a new discussion. You mig... 5 stars (Excellent book.) - This is a great book. The stories about playing days are getting a little dated, but the concepts are timeless. There are several sections that I'm going to re-read. The only people who shouldn't read this are my opponents. :D 5 stars (An excellent title for players with sound strokes) - I remember picking up this book from a bookstore a few years back. Then, I didn't have sound strokes and a pathetic serve. The book was humorous and excellent tips on how to beat power players, moonballers, net players and more. Unfortunetly, the book didn't do any good for me. Until now, I have improved my groundstrokes and serve greatly and I'm starting to go the net. I now play strategicily in singles and doubles in competition and now a plan of action in each game. Read this book. It is your essential key to winning matches. Treat it like your tennis bible! It will only work if you can play a decent game of tennis. The better you play with your strokes, the more you can get out of this book. 5 stars (great book) - Somebody here said - "But if you are 3.5 or below don't bother with this book"...Man, think before you utter nonsense like this. This book is great, there are very few club players who think on the court. After reading this book, I guarantee they'll be thinking more about their game, analyzing, and getting better results. Congrats, Brad. It's not hard to beat someone who's worse than you, but someone who's better. This book can help you do that. ...
