5 stars (This product is a must-buy offer for video editing) - I've used this product for video editing of my recent errand to Nanital. I gave stunning results and I was amazed with its ease of usability. It also includes a very comprehensive help. In summary it is another accomplishment for ADOBE. 4 stars (Premiere Elements 2.0 is a Qualified Success!) - Premiere Elements 2.0 is pretty good and easy to use. While Pinnacle Studio 9 is a bit easier to use, Premiere 2.0 does seem much more reliable that Studio. The good is that you can output both Windows and Mac in addition to DVD format video, whereas with the Apple packages, such as iMovie or even Final Cut Express you're limited to Quicktime and non-Windows formats. Editing was relatively easy, yet still has a small learning curve; the should scale the items on the screen a bit better but if you have good eyes (and I don't!) you can find just about everything at your finger tips. About the only complaint I have is that the output quality is not as good as Final Cut Express. For some reason the resulting DVD image I created was less resolution than the original/source video which was a VOB file of an old 8mm Wedding film. Not sure why that happened but it did. Also the helptext gets an average rating from me. While some information is right there, easy to get at, other stuff isn't in the help or is worded a bit too obscure. Titling is about the only thing that Pinnacle does better. Premiere's is okay, but many of the checkboxes seem to work backwards. For example the "Start off Screen" for a rolling title caused the title to start on screen and roll off screen, whereas Start On Screen had the opposite affect. So trial and error comes into play. All in all, if you're a Windows User, I would recommend it, if you're a Mac user (I use both) I would use iMovie which normally comes with your Mac or iLife package. 5 stars (Good to buy as single, best with Photoshop Elements combination) - Thanks to Adobe for giving ... 2 stars (Crash on me three times) - I ordered it, then Download the trial version on Ulead website. Atfer it crashed three times I decided to return the product. Other then that it was easy and straight forward to use. 5 stars (Fantasic Product - Very Easy To Use) - I downloaded a trial of this product about 30 days ago and the trial is about to expire. In those thirty days I went from knowing nothing about video editing to producing full projects and the ensuing DVD. This product is so easy to understand - with minimal amount of learning. I have tried several others, but none come close if you are not an experienced video editor. I guess the last thing I need to figure out is which formats work best, although I have transferred several analog vidoes and created voice dubbed DVD's using the DVD/Mpeg formats. I am very pleased with the end result. The price of this item makes it all very worthwhile. Dowmload the trial and use it for a month (go to the Ulead website). Since I am on my last day of the trial, I plan to purchase this item from Amazon, since they now have it even cheaper than the trial version ($79.99 vs $99.99). I worked with files that were so huge (1/2 GB to 1 GB), I was sure that they would crash the program - but no. I have not experienced any techincal problems whatsoever during the 30 day trial. I am very pleased with an umpire instuctional video that this program has allowed me to produce - with the end result being a very professional looking DVD. I have also transferred all of my old VHS family tapes and VHS-C camcorder tapes into digital format, thanks, in part, to this program. Added: Folks, if this program is crashing on you, I have to believe that it's because you need more RAM or a higher speed CPU. I worked with a 5 GB video file - and have absolutely no problems. If you are going to video edit - you need to have plenty of RAM. My computer is a Dell Dimension 8400 with a 3.2 Ghz CPU and I have 1 GB of RAM. I have absolute...
