5 stars (A great book) - A great book with a practical approach to a sensitive area for all men. 5 stars (Great tool to overcome sexual temptation) - This is an incredible book. It totally helped me to overcome my struggles with pornography and sexual temptation in general. It gives the reader tools to fight the battle. I'd highly recommend it. It's changed my life and the lives of others I know. If you struggle at all in this area, it's the book for you. 2 stars (Agreed) - Hello, my name is Michael Campbell, and having used this book in a study group I agree that it is totally a mixed bag. I feel her review is right on, and dont really have that much to add to it. Luckily it was a quick read (each of the 6 sections takes only 20 or 30 minutes to read) and so I dont feel I wasted a lot of time on it. If you struggle with sexual purity then this is for you. 5 stars (Just what you are looking for...) - This book handles all the issues about sexual purity for every young man. Great. 3 stars (It makes me mad how this book portrayes the girls like they are victims.) - Are they victims? One of the girls says, "I was so wanting to wait for my wedding night, but I also wanted to make him happy, so I let it go too far." So its all his fault? He was wrong for pressuring her but she is wrong for letting it happen. She said he herself. "...but I also wanted to make him happy." Forget about his happiness. She said she wanted to wait for her wedding night. So she should have. So stop acting like its all the guys fault. Another girl stated that she really like this guy and he tried some things that made her uncomfortable. She said she asked him to stop but he persisted. "Finally he just wore me down and I eventually gave in. He had weakend my defenses." What! Ok, again. Guys should stop pressuring these girls like this. But it makes me mad that she settled for that. Oh woe is her. For goodness sake stand up and tell the guy no, and if he tries anything again. He's out of here. Another girl said she hated making her boyfriend feel bad and having the blame pushed back on her. So she gave in. So here is another victim. How come these girl couldn't stand up and say that she is not going to do it no matter how much he tries? And if he tries it again. She out of there. I'm sick of this blame being pushed on guys. I know we try. But these girls make it seem like that if we do try they are not powerful enough to resist. Is that true ladies? If it is, no wonder the guys are persistent. I have seen some very strong girls in my time and maybe somebody should teach these girls to be also. I remember a time when I was kissing this girl, which was her idea by the way, but when I tried to see if could have sex with her. She became furious. 4 stars (Good book that reinforces solid ideas) - This book is helpful because it reinforces universal principles. I didn't find much new here, but I did overcome some obstacles that had been in my way. If you are looking for a great book, read my favorite, Optimal Thinking: How To Be Your Best Self, because and you will rise above mediocrity and the great into the best that life can offer. 5 stars (Your life equals the sum total of your habits.) - I looked thru a few of the reviews about this book and I have to laugh at the review that said this information is for Homer Simpson and that anyone over the age of 10 should have figured it out. I must ask if it's so obvious, why do most people waste time working at jobs they hate, just to pay the bills, living a life of wasted talent and never come close to becoming rich or even more important happiness? If success is so obvious, why do most of us not take the necessary tasks? This book is in my top 5 of over about 280 personal development books I have read. I will agree that the topics are very simple, but extremely effective. We are all blessed with the same number of hours in a day. The ONLY way you will become happy and successful is if you learn to manage your habits, time, and money. Most of us waste many hours of the day doing meaningless tasks. Do you think your doctor would want to mop the floors? NO WAY. Why is it then that most of us feel as if we have to be a jack of all trades and master none? This book talks of specialization and how to make the most of this one time shot called life. This book makes sense of how to get down to the core of self-development which is how to change your habits, which will in turn change your life. If I had to recommend 2 books to anyone, the first would be this and the second would be The Master Key to Riches by Napoleon Hill. 5 stars (Great book) - Too bad our Canadian friend didn't use the book.
