I didn't give it it's fifth star because not all information is new, however it's written in an easy to follow way and if you begin it right away, the results will happen right away. The effects were amazing and you'll notice a difference fast. This is the perfect addition to any exercise collection whether it be in books or dvds. Buy this and begin immediately. Also very useful as a visual reference aid while working through a more thorough publication such as "Strategy Maps" by Kaplan and Norton. For $7, I felt it a worthwhile purchase. However, there was a technical glitch. When I downloaded it, the article came up within IE6 and Adobe Acrobat. My printer was at the office and the File, Save menu options were greyed out. I didn't want to lose the article, so I clicked to Explorer in WinXP, located the LocalSettings folder and from there the TemporaryInternetFiles folder, sorted by size, and there it was - approx 3,500K. I copied and pasted into MyDocuments folder and it appeared with the proper name. 5 stars (Great Story Line...) - This game has an excellent and interesting story line. The graphics are great, and there is a lot of area to explore. The characters are all interesting with their own personalities. I will say that I found this game pretty difficult. I collected like 40 inventory items quickly, and it became overwhelming to keep track of the items. (especially since most of them have to be combined.) Sometimes I felt myself not knowing what to do next. BUT, I feel that the GREAT story line makes up for all of this! 3 stars (Disappointed) - I was very excited about this game coming out. Once I started playing though, I was getting really bored because there really wasn't any action or interesting puzzles to solve, just asking alot of questions as well as the same questions to the characters. Sometimes I would just run around the house going in all the bedrooms until finally it would jump to the next chapter. I think they are on the right track with this, however, a little more suspense and maybe some more action scenes. I hope that they will take note of games like Syberia.... 3 stars (Well ... good enough) - An enjoyable little game for the Agatha Christie fan. As you know if you've read the book or seen the play or the movie(s) by the same name, the plot is designed so almost anybody can be the actual murderer, so you needn't worry about knowing whodunit; it's not who you expect it be. And it's always fun to be in the middle of a plot you're familiar with, to see how the characters and situations actually play out. That said, there are definitely some areas where improvements could have been made. The voice acting is mediocre and the character graphics wooden and clumsy; in many scenes, you have the feeling a couple of Barbie and Ken dolls are being bounced around a doll house by a hyperactive child. There are also far too few puzzles, and none of them are either challenging or even particularly interesting. The action consists main... 4 stars (Soul Robber!) - If you are a fan of the movie, then this game is for you. The storyline sticks to the movie and you'll see all of the main characters pop up at one point or another. Gameplay is fun and can be challenging at times with a mixture of fighting and puzzle solving. The game is straightforward and flows smoothly from one scenario to the next. There are a few flaws in the game though, that really detract from the gameplay overall. The music, also (for the most part) from the movie, can be a bit repetitive as can the character comments. The camera is fixed so you are not able to look around, which can be a bit frustrating at times, especially when the scenery is blocking the action. You can agitate enemies to gain bonus points by slapping the soul robber (the main weapon) to the ground, this is a huge flaw because the camera zooms in on Jack and you can't see anything around him, which usually leads to a swipe or two from an enemy. Use of the soul robber also ilicits an announcement of "Soul Robber!" EVERY SINGLE TIME you use it, which is just stupid if you ask me and quite irritating. Also, the soul robber could have some more combo attacks since it is the weapon of choice throughout the game. The other character costumes, which come with other powers are used primarily for specific tasks and the soul robber can't be used with either alternate character form so you're stuck flame throwing (until your red souls quickly run out) or tossing presents and screeching "Merry Christmas" at everyone, which also has limited effect. The graphics are good but can be grainy in spots. The voice work is excellent, with most of the original cast from the movie lending a hand. Being familiar with the original movie pays off with some trivia games thrown into the puzzle mix.
