5 stars (A great reference for fabric artists.) - The only fabric book comes with real fabric swatches. A great reference for fabric artists. You know how sometimes you want to achieve certain quality but don't know what material to use. The description of each fabric helps me to choose the right material for the right projects and make sure it stays that way forever. I also learn more materials for my fabric sculpture. I finally found this ideal book after so many years. 5 stars (All three books in this series are invaluable!) - I love fabric and love to sew, but don't really know much about the fabrics I use. 5 stars (As good as the book on wool) - When identifying fabric, texture is more important than appearance. Even though I don't sew, I do purchase vintage items for my prop company and I have to label the outfit in the description. If you want to learn about fabric, this is the way to go. 5 stars (Indispensible resource for silk junkies!) - This book was love-at-first-sight. It doesn't blab unnecessarily about the fabric, just lets you touch and see it for yourself. While being very visual and tactile, it also devotes a page with all the relevant information about each particular kind of silk (and who would have thought there would be so many?!): how to care for it, how difficult it is to sew, the ideal projects for each fabric, its characteristics, its approximate price per yard, hints/tips for working with the fabric, etc. I wish there was a reference book like this for everything! It has really inspired me and given me the confidence and knowledge that I need to both shop for silk and start some projects. 5 stars (Yes, you need this book) - This is the perfect book if your local fabric store doesn't carry any (or enough) silk to learn on your own. Words just can't replace running the fabric through your fingers to see if it will work for your project, and this book lets you do that and more. 4 stars (swat just keeps getting better and better) - yup this one is the best uptil now.they have brought very good effects in the graphics and video department. 4 stars (Nothing worse then minor blemishes) - This is a fundamentally great game with a few minor shortcomings. The gameplay is pretty solid - realistic physics, many options for solving problems (and many different tactical problems that require solving). The difficulty levels make a reasonable degree of difference - that and the behaviors and random placement of bad guys and hostages means that the game is extremely replayable. The AI of your team is better then any of the other SWAT games (though it seems to me that they use scripts - they occasionally go places that make absolutely no sense based on the tactical situation, such as right into the line of fire). Terrorists and hostages have similarly impressive behaviors, lurking or trying to sneak around behind you. And I've got to give a lot of credit to the level designers. There are some levels that were so creepy and mood-setting that they left me with my knees shaking. The problems I find are very minor. Occasional AI lapses do occur, and sometimes members of your squad get inexplicably stuck on world entities - I had a couple officers get trapped in corners and unable to extract themselves. Also, the squad interface isn't nearly as fast or efficient as Rainbow Six 3 was - in this one, you have to drag down a list to make orders. Sometimes, the list isn't nearly fast enough for the situation. But all in all, this game is rock-solid, engaging, and plenty challenging. I recommend it for fans of tactical shooters like Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon. 3 stars (Need a serious re-work on A.I.) - The game is the best of series, but really need to improve de A.I. Sometimes it really pisses off the DUMB things that your team do without your command putting in risk all mission. Another thing that irritates is the "UNAUTHORIZED USE OF FORCE" penalty. Even s...
