4 stars (Simple) - Mader's "Biology" makes every thing simple with its easy-to-understand language and figures. Great EM shots, summarized tables, and applied examples are a few of the several features of the book. Also, summaries at the end of each section and chapter make it easy to reveiw what you have read in a short time. In addition, I have to note that the book is very simple. i.e. College students may need more detailes, although this book is very useful to them! 3 stars (Boring But Understandable) - Like most biology books full of big words and irrelevent terms this 4th edition biology book by Mader was quite easy for me to understand the scientific terms considering this was my first science course. 5 stars (AWESOME BOOK!!!) - This is an AWESOME book. The case vignettes are extremely helpful, and the book is written so that it is easy to read. I HATE "textbook" type books, and this book isn't like that at all. It really does help to clarify some of the diagnoses in the DSM, which can be quite confusing even when someone has used the manual for years. I've used this book a lot already, even though I've only had it about a month. It's helped me tease apart some details and observations to make what I think are more accurate diagnoses with some of my clients. Purchase this book and you will NOT be sorry!! 4 stars (A practical explanation of the DSM-IV) - This book provides a practical explanation of the "DSM-IV" that will appeal to anyone who wants a thorough, simplified description of this complex book. I'm only giving it four stars because I don't think it provides an explanation of the latest changes made in the "DSM-IV-TR". The book will nonetheless appeal to nearly anyone seeking to improve their grasp of psychiatry, not just psychiatrists in training. Avery Z. 1 stars (Five Minutes to Orgasm Every Time You Make Love - etc) - It seemed that it took a long time to get to the point - it drug out - maybe to make the book longer. The information was stated in a what I feel was a vulgar way to say things and there is no evidence of any morality whatso ever. As soon as I finished it it went into the waste basket. 5 stars (Useful Book with a Contemporary Viewpoint) - What I liked best about this book is that it treats women as if their bodies will react in predictable ways if the right buttons are pushed, and the author doesn't leave pushing the correct buttons solely up to the man. Why indeed, are women so varied in plumbing and psychology that many have dificulty achieving orgasm at all and yet almost all men achieve orgasm quite easily (at least while young)? Answer - they are NOT! Women are entitled to achieve orgasms just like men. You don't have to feel self-conscious. Just learn to face sex without fear and with a new measure of confidence you can learn with this book. 4 stars (Excellent Book ) - This can be a real challenge for some women, and also for some men who love women. In that respect, I think this book is a very good basic manual on the subject of orgasm and satisfaction, allowing both men and women to gain more of a grasp on the subject of female orgasm. There are some other books which are also excellent, most obviously being Tom Leonardi's "SECRETS OF SENSUAL LOVEMAKING" which provides a very masculine step-by-step plan or "system" for bringing a woman to what the author calls The Ultimate Orgasm, which involves the g-spot and the controversial mystical Female Ejaculating Orgasm. Contrast that with 5 MINUTES TO ORGASM EVERY TIME's guidance toward the Clitoral variety. With the help of Leonardi's book and a caring man, I have come to be a great enjoyer of Both now. 1 stars (Essentially a Waste of Money) - I was a regular user of CorelDraw 8 for Windows 98 on my older computer. When I bought a new machine, Draw 8 would not work with Windows XP, so I needed a newer program to access and edit my .cdr files. I called Corel Corp. in Canada who assured me that Essentials contained basically everything in CorelDraw 11 (and therefore my version 8). After receiving the program, I found it to be a severely stripped down program, missing most of the essential components of the earlier programs. It is really frustrating when so many of the useful features are "grayed out" or just plain missing. Save your money and avoid this one. 5 stars (Good for less) - A very good alternative to the complete software package. This slim version is more than enough for home and small office needs: labels, brochures and other printing material. 2 stars (What Gives! The Original Essentials Version is better than version 2 ) - I have been using Corel Essentials, the white with horizontal blue green box (original version) for quite some time, I decide to upgrade to the "newest version 2". So, I fork out $80 plus shipping. Got it 5 days later; I installed the software, all looks good... then I start using it, standard features from version one are GONE! There are no upgrade gimmicks or download this or that, they were just simply removed - my most used features! Unacceptable, I contacted customer support, they were very polite and helpful but recommended for my imaging needs to regress to Corel Essentials, the Original software I had as the new "one omits many features" the second version just does not cut it. I am just bit dissapointed in the company but though (and give credit where is due) Corel Essentials is so far the Best I have used so I can and wont beat them up too much in their effort to sell less in a "new & not much improved" new box. (every corporation does this - from cereal to soap) My advise, stick with the original Essentials versio...

5 stars (Best Photo Editor) - I believe I have gone through every Photo Editor Trial out there, and this is by far the best. Yes even better than great and glorious photoshop. why? cause it's user friendly. you dont have to be a technical geek. im not one of them, and i could figure out how to use all the tools before i lost my creativity. and for fifty something dollars! this is truly worth the buy. if only i had the money, hahaha. on a more personal note, this program allowed me to do some art that saved my life really it did. so i guess this is a thanks to ulead, your 30 day trial saved my life, and helped my imagination run free. 4 stars (Flexible works at all levels) - This is a interesting software package to work with. You can obtain very good results with little knowledge with the single 'autofi'x button to choose from the multitude of preset buttons for creating lots of standard corrections and effects. The software is even capable of changing the 'look' of the preset buttons to a 'preview' of the change to your photograph. The presets are a scripts of various individual tools. You can create your own scripts, combining tools in any order you wish. You can also work with each tool independently either with presets for that specific tool or by using the controls to create your own degree of effect. Almost every tool, allows you to see simultaneous before and after views of the change or split screen before and after combination of the photograph being changed. You can also apply any effect as a 'preview' and can undo any tool, script to any level. I particularly like the choice of selection tools. Besides the standard selection by color, you can choose with several different methods/tools. They have a smart extraction tool that lets you paint a broad outline of the area(s) you want to select and the software does the dirty work (provided there is enough contrast/color difference) to give you a fine division between the subjects. 5 stars (Extremely valuable item) - Somehow TI was my first introduction into the swimming world and in the beginnning I got a slightly biased view on what is to be done in the water. Still.. once I acquired some more experience and had a chance to get familiar with other approaches I could fully appreciate Terry's work. With all my reservations Terry's done a great job by building a consistent system approach to swimming skills and it really, really works. Absolutely great for beginners. 5 stars (Outstanding book and awesome learning tool!) - Once you get past the feeling that Terry is trying to sell you the book after you've already bought it, you'll realize what a valuable tool this book can be. (I'm sorry, he may be good and know his stuff, but his arrogance is somewhat of a put-off.) Regardless, this book is for anyone who feels that swimming is either their weak-point or for people who avoid it all together due to frustration experienced when actually trying to swim. Terry is the foremost expert in swimming efficiency and knows what he's talking about. 5 stars (Slowly but absolutely Changed swimming for me!) - Terry spends many pages hyping his technique, but after about 6 months with the book and videos and doing the drills, I can justify the hype.
