4 stars (God's Presence in All Things) - Brother Lawrence's life, as revealed in this book, is a testimony to the place that God should occupy in the daily life of all committed Christians. His humility forced him to be dependent on God for all things, and this book illustrates his philosophy in action. Brother Lawrence tells the reader how he can be grateful for all things - both good and bad - in one's life. I recommend it to all Christians who seek to prioritze their life to place God at the forefront. 4 stars (Devotional Classic) - The Practice of the Presence of God is an incredible story of a man who sought to be ever in God's presence. The lesson of Brother Lawrence is simple: If you want to be ever in the presence of God, you have to practice, practice, practice! You must force yourself to be ever aware of God's working around you. You must turn every aspect of your life into a service to Him. When you have done so, you will be habitually in the presence of God. No silly gimmicks. Just a continuous state of prayer, thanking God for every blessing and turning over every care. While at times this little book finds ways to repeat itself, hidden in the basic story is truth upon truth. This little book makes for very good daily spiritual reading. It is broken up into small, easily manageable sections which can be read as part of a daily devotional or prayer time. The only difficulty with it is that it's very short, so it probably won't last you that long if you only read through it once. But, it is still a devotional classic worth reading. 5 stars (constant and unceasing prayer) - Over the years I've met a few "prayer warriors" who seemed to spend every waking moment connected to God. They carried a peace about them, and saw prayer as a gift rather than an obligation. Frankly, they made me feel terribly inadequate. I wanted to have that type of relationship with God, but wasn't quite sure where to start. I had trouble setting aside fifteen mi... 4 stars (Bottoms Up!) - "So Spank Me!" is a collection of nine short stories, which are linked by an erotic corporal punishment theme. There is everything from light-hearted humour ("Trouble In Paradise") to more serious BDSM material such as "Getting Away" and the ebook offers an extremely varied and interesting selection of styles and themes. I liked the way some of the stories, such as "Dinner Dance", explore *why* someone finds spanking arousing. It's a multi-layered offering and streets ahead of most fiction in this genre. There's something here for both the seasoned "spankophile" and the simply curious. ... 4 stars (An excellent primer.) - As an expert in rare violins with extensive experience at Christie's, Sotheby's, and Antiques Roadshow, I always thought I was able to telephony. Turns out I didn't know the first thing about it! Live and learn, I always say. Thanks for opening my eyes, Mr. Harte. 5 stars (A good switchover for Telecom people) - This is a good introductory book for Telecom people who are looking to get into IP Telephony. The diagrams are good and the explanation are easy to understand.I even talked to the author and he was helpful. 1 stars (Introduction to IP Telephony) - Do NOT buy this PDF if you are a serious professional and want to work for VoIP. You will waste your money buying this and waste your time reading this. I do not think I can give even one star to this book. However Amazon does not accept review if I do not give at least one star hence I have give that rating. ... 1 stars (Little useful information) - This book tries to dumb-down SIP. It looks like it wants to be a training manual for a "Learning SIP" course, but doesn't provide any real technical detail. It is poorly written and a tedious read. This is the first sentance: "SIP is a standardized technology that allows for the sending of voice, data, and video between communication devices on public (e.g. Internet) or private (e.p. local area networks) data networks." ... and it doesn't get any better after that. SIP Demystified by Gonazlo Camarillo is a much better read. It is engaging and well written, providing useful information for IT engineers, managers and technologists. ... 4 stars (Good Introduction) - This is a very good starting guide for somebody not used to billing processeses. Moreover there is not so much books dealing with this discipline. I am lookinf forward the full version if there gonna any... 3 stars (Good High-Level Overview for Beginners) - This is a good, but not terribly polished, high-level overview of telecom billing processes. If you've spent any time at all with telecom billing systems you'll be familiar with 95% of the information in this document, if not more. The material is appropriate for anyone who's getting involved with telecom billing for the first time or who has been working on the periphery of the billing systems and would like to know more. Don't expect a lot of detail - there can't be a lot in a document that contains only 31 pages of content written using large type and a lot of white space. For example, the entire section on Hardware and Software consists of the following paragraph: "The hardware usually includes high performance computers that operate proprietary software. Due to the complexity of hardware and software billing systems, continuous training is required in order to ensure quality services to the customers and to provide revenue assurance." 4 stars (Introduction to Telecom Billing) - This is a good book for anyone who needs a quick and succint introduction on the billing process in Telecom industry without getting into technical details. It is a easy read. Will save days of research on google. ... 5 stars (TURKISH WRESTLING) - This is a gorgeous book devoted to the ancient art of Turkish wrestling. The models are absolutely stunning. 5 stars (Amazing photographs, beaufiful book.) - Lawrence Grecco's photographs bridge the eroticism of the human figure with the exoticism of an ancient sport that is truly fascinating in every way. His compositional ability is exceptional; each of these images are powerful and almost every one of them can stand on their own quite well. The book itself is beautifully designed, almost antique looking with its cloth cover and adhered black and white photograph. This is THE BOOK on Turkish Wrestling . 5 stars (Wrestling as Art) - Lawrence Grecco's " Turkish Wrestling " appeals to me strongly as a wrestler, a psychotherapist and an amatuer photographer. Through beautiful pictures and descriptive text he makes a very foreign culture seem kindred. The univerals of sport, masculine struggle, comraderie and brotherhood leap from the page in moments and movements that seem at once very different from my experience as an American wrestler, and yet somehow very close to home. Through his talent as an artist he is able to bridge the cultural gap and connect me with the deeper meaning of what it means to be in a community of men who strive for perfection through the particular sport of wrestling. Through his keen photographic eyes, we are all winners as we experience the age old traditions of theTurkish Kirkpinar. I highly recommend this wonderful book. ...
