5 stars (Well Done!) - This book is the best of it's kind. It is simple and to the point. It's going to change the way I approach shopping for clothes. Stacy and Clinton work to make people look good no matter what their shape or weight or height or figure flaws. When I saw some of the pictures of people (in their underwear) I thought, "No way are they going to make this person look good!" But I was wrong every single time. The people look good. They look together. It made me feel good just to see the change. What I think Stacy and Clinton are about is that they want people to feel good about their bodies no matter what(or where) their problem areas are. What they show us in this book is that we all really can have our "outsides" match our "insides." 5 stars (Stacy and Clinton Don't Disappoint) - I was thrilled to see the American hosts of What Not To Wear co authored a book. The show is fabulous and the book lives up to that standard. First, the book helps you identify your body type not by using some fruit or obscure geometric shape but real world identifiers. The guidelines they use are so simple they make sense for those of us not so handy with a tape measure. Also, the book does not assume every one who is petite is a size 6. Guidelines are given for a variety of shapes, sizes and heights. It also shows you how to dress for work, play and formal occasions. My absolute favorite part is the pictures in the back of the book that show and tell (some fashion books assume you know what a bolero jacket looks like). No assumptions are made here this book provides pictures for everything the authors talk about or recommend which to me makes perfect sense. Fashion is so visual and at last there is a fashion book with actual pictures of real people wearing the right clothes instead of 3 or 4 cartoon drawings that supposedly represent human body shapes or pictures of the same two people who supposedly represent every figure flaw or asset. 5 stars (ON GRIEF AND GRIEVING) - A profoundly wise, helpful and comforting book -- a magnificent achievement -- The best book I have read on the subject of loss. ON GRIEF AND GRIEVING provided greater understanding and meaning at an especially difficult time. This is a heartfelt rave and sincere recommendation. 5 stars (Excellent Book) - Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and David Kessler do an excellent job of taking a very difficult subject and breaking it down into its component parts. This book has been giving me a better understanding of what grief is, why we must go through it, how to do it, what is healthy, and what is not. This book will be on my list to give to close friends and family members when they go through a loss of a loved one. I cannot praise this book enough. All I can say is that I am very grateful that somebody wrote it and did an excellent job at that. 5 stars (THE PERFECT GIFT FOR DIFFICULT TIMES) - I have never known what to do when someone I care about has do deal with the unfortunate reality of death. Sending flowers that will die in a few days doesn't feel right. And they often have flowers from the funeral anyway. This book is so tenderly written and so easy to read that it makes the perfect gift when a card is too little for a family member, friend or co-worker you care about. ... 5 stars (Must have book for every job seeker; insightful.) - Ok. This is the best of the best. Worth full price. I don't care so much for the exercises and things like that. But the book can be summed up as a three in one. It covers: Job seeking (main aspect) Interviewing Salary Negotiation As well as identifying your true passion and learn more about the type of jobs you would really like to do. People that succeed generally like what they do so this book is a great resource that will help you identify what you love to do. When work is enjoyable, you tend to do better, get promoted etc. I am a college grad and this book is worthy of being used in a college environment to teach a class that would cost far more than the price of this book. No matter what field of work you do, get this book if you are looking for a job. I guarantee you will learn about yourself and identify some of your inner goals and desires. 5 stars (What color is your parachute?) - I received the book in an excellent amount of time and it was in the condition stated when I purchased it, which was excellent. I recommend to every one. 5 stars (GREAT FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS) - This book gave me all kinds of tips that no professors were able to. It also provided me with insight on emotional aspects that can affect both the interviewer and interviewee during an interview. I cannot express how much I believe this book has to offer. It's definitely not on one of those books you buy and then think, 'Okay, so didn't I already know all of that?' ... 5 stars (Wonderful Resource) - I'd been having difficulty meditating and feel God directed me to this resource. It is most helpful and has been an inspiration to me. I feel it would be a fine tool for women's Bible study groups also or for book review groups. While directed at women, men may also find it insightful. It is written with a light hand but has so much depth. I plan to reread it often. 5 stars (Excellent Book) - I have read this book a few times and have given it to other woman in our church as well. This book is sound and extremely encouraging as most books adress the "Mary" aspect of life only, whereas Joanna address the "Martha" in all of us who are wives, mothers and just woman in general, wanting to know our Lord more intimately, yet we have so much to do. I read both "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World" and "A woman after God's own heart" - by Elizabeth George at the same time. What a blessing to have such gifted sisters in Christ who God can use to encourage and challenge us all. Worth reading again and again. 4 stars (I Needed This Book) - This book was really helpful to me in making me realize that I really do need to "slow down" and listen for God's presence more. I could not have read this book at a more perfect time as i was invited to be a part of a prayer group and needed to have encouragment to slow down a little more. Which, as an evangelical liberal is probably the area of growth that i need the most as a daughter of God. My only real critique of the book was that some of the illustrations seemed to be more geared toward middle aged women as I think this sort of book should be geared toward ALL christians. ... 2 stars (i suck and so does this game) - i wrote a review for the other finding nemo game and i gave it 1 star! i dont know what i was thinking to buy this game because the last one was boring and way too easy. this one is no diffrent. it still sucks times 10. but i have to say the graphics are great!A+. BUT the game is still bad and as always i knew my brother would like it! he didnt and his 5. he said "this game is way too easy and boring. i dont want it."then he pretented to throw up. my mom didnt like it either. my friends thought they were too old for it because were 10 and my dad said why we bought this junk. so right now its sitting on the shelf dusty. we now have 20 dollars down the drain. stupid nemo and this company, they cant even invent a game that us 10-13 year olds can play. 1 stars (i got this game and.................) - this game sucks. its way to easy and the graphics suck too. i love the movie but the game is terrible! im 10 so i realy should know better. i couldnt return at all. my mom was pleased with the game but i wasnt! so i gave it to my brother who is 5. my mom got me madagscar instead. i love it. atleast someone is enjoying my game. kids over 4 would use the disk for frisbee so think befor you buy!!!! 5 stars (great for little people who love Nemo & fish) - I saw the 3 star review and almost didn't purchase it. The negative reviews didn't help. But keep an open mind. My 3 year old grandson loves all the games. He is a little young but is learning as he goes. The film clips add a little extra to break up the games. What can I say, it's like a Pooh or Blues Clues CD., it's games, it keeps the little ones interest, while they are learning. ... 3 stars (Difficult Fun By Maggie) - I got this game for my 11th b-day. Though it is fun and challenging, it is very very difficult. It has wonderful graphics and sound but if anyone younger than me plays this game it may seem impossible! Ps- I've been stuck on the same level for a few months!!!!!! 1 stars (No Save Feature) - Would be a great game, if only it had a save feature. I purchased it cuz I'm really into a mini-game phase, where I just wanna play little time wasters at random. This package has the games, but you have to fight to get to them. If you're in the mood to play breakout with the turtles then you have to spend 30 min earning your way to that point every time. By then you may be tired of playing anyway. Anywho.. individual games are good (some for adults, some mostly just for younger kids), but the lack of a save feature is very frustrating. 5 stars (Awsomely Fun!) - This is like the best game i have ever played. i will not play any other game! ...
