4 stars (A Good Version to Have) - This parallel version of both Bibles is helpful. The NIV side has chapter and verse notation while The Message side does not. The Message version is very easy to read and understand. I like having them side by side because I can easily compare how one relates to the other. Reading The Message has helped me understand the meaning of some verses that have been tricky in the past. However, it can be bit easy to get confused with which side you are reading when you turn the page and then you have to back track to get in the correct spot. The pages are very thin and it can be visually distracting to see backwards letters through the page. 1 stars (Poor At Best) - This bible is plain and simply stupid. I can't believe that anybody would prefer a paraphrase of the bible over an actual translation ie: English Standard Version. Don't waste your money on this, instead get the Reformation Study Bible ESV. You will grow much more spiritually when you can read something that actually is not altered. For an example of why i think the message and message remix are so ridiculous read Psalm 63 in the ESV and then the message. 5 stars (Great Format) - Nice large letters, so much better than having several bibles open. I love the format! I have found nyself using this bible more than my regular bible. ... 5 stars (Thorough accounting) - This is a multifaceted program that out does itself! Takes a while to get to know it, but once you get rollin' you find out that it is very powerful indeed. I recommend it to any small business owner. 4 stars (Accounting for Small Business) - We upgraded to QB Premier from QB Pro to take advantage of the multiple pricing by amount - not percentage and it works well. However, there are still items that need consideration. For mail and phone orders, credit cards now require CVV codes and there is no place on the payment screen to include. I also believe that front end and back end info should be integrated. We would like to be able to use QB to send info to customers who have purchased a certain products rather than having to export to another program. ... 5 stars (should cherish the style as Japanese too) - I am a man that lives in Tokyo, the metropolitan of Japan. Recently in about thirty years, Japanese living styles have changed extremely, that is, the styles are getting to be foreign styles, the windows: not Syouji, tables: not Tyabudai, floorings: not tatami and so on. Especially in big city like Tokyo, Oosaka and Nagoya the tendency is plain. Though there will be the many reasons that recent Japan have gotten to be such situations, recent Japanese especially young men may wish such cool design like European style, for instance, a data was reported a few years ago, the length of foots per over-all body height of Japanese students have gotten to be long, some specialists of the genre say that the cause will be that young men use chairs of styles that stretch their legs, not the Seiza style that have existed from long ago. Off course the cause may be by other aspects like abundant foods. But I approve about the opinion of specialists too. Certainly though the old Japanese living styles are disappearing in big cities, if we go to local towns or villages, there will be many traditional style house. Now, some people (especially the adults over 40 years old) who are living in big cities like Tokyo lived and sent in such traditional house style of local towns for their boys or girls age. After all when they got to be about 20 years old, they went out from the towns and went to Tokyo etc because they yearned for the fashions or convenience of Tokyo. They become businessmen, when they take long vacations of summer or new-year some of them go back to their towns or villages of their home countries. And they say then "the most comfortable place is my hometown and house after all". Off course the their saying may be because they are released from daily stress like hard working, but I think that another reason exists, that is, Japanese traditional house styles may give the influences to such feeling. 5 stars (Into Thin Air) - Great book! Kept me on the edge of my seat. Well written, easy to read. 5 stars (Best book I have ever read!) - This is a great book. Hard to put down. It is written well and holds your attention on every page. I have read alot of books and this is my all time favorite. 5 stars (Gripping and informative) - This book is a 'one day read.' It literally proves that survival of the fittest rules the day. By accounting the lack of emotion in helping others and the illogic visions of people who do attempt extreme feats (and defeats), the author shows exactly how elements of OCD do lead people in pursuing maybe visions that humans should not really venture down. It's gripping, a hard lesson and fantastically written....especially so soon after the author had such a traumatic series of events. A total must-read and seriously, start reading this book knowing that whatever plans you had that day will be cancelled once you open this book! ... 5 stars (Excellent Read, Great Information) - I love this book. It was the very first guide that I read. However, it has to be taken in perspective. This book is even better en tandem with The Unofficial Guide. Then you have all the information you could possibly need. The Unofficial Guide provides much needed balance, to the official line. This book will get you excited and high as a kite about your trip- which is great. It will tell you about all the wonderful things there are to do and great opportunities that are largely missed. The Unofficial will then proceed to give you a reality check about them and help you set realistic goals and have realistic expectations. This helps so that you're not disappointed. I used these two guides plus the Passporter (for organization) and we had the best trip in the world. We went in August, stayed on property, got around without having to rent a car or wait in long lines in the heat. We saw people looking like they were gonna pass out from heat exhaustion, but we sailed through our trip like a breeze and can't wait to go again. I read Fodor's, Frommer's (excluding the Irrevernt Guide), the Everything Guide, Rita Aero's,Eyewitness (waste of paper), Hassle Free Disney and tons more thru the years- NONE of the others are needed. The best plans are in the Unofficial guide, the best maps are in the official, the best planner is in the Passporter. The others were not used and not needed and a big waste of money. 5 stars (EXCELLENT INFORMATION) - Book is #1 to me. So informative, a must have for first timers or people who have been time and time again. 4 stars (Very good book, but wait for the 2006 edition.) - This book has lots of useful information. 5 stars (A Treasure Trove of Imagineering Insider Info in a Small Space) - The entire point of imagineering anything is to convey a story in a consistent and complete manner. How this is done is the subject of several imagineering books. For the newcomer, the book simply entitled Imagineering is it. For the next stage of imagineer-wannabe, there is the Field Guide. Take a guided tour of the Magic Kingdom land by land, attraction by attraction and learn what goes into making it all work cohesively and seemlessly. This is an absolutely essential component to anyone's library of Disneyana or, more in general, anyone's library of the creative process. This is supposed to be the first in a series of Imagineering Field Guides and I cannot wait until the next ones are published. Good Show. ...
