Seller was good, I give my highest recomendation. 5 stars (This book is truly outstanding.....) - As an upper level high school mathematics teacher, I have to say that Blitzer's text "Thinking Mathematically" is truly an outstanding book! - for both the student and the teacher. He explains concepts in an extraordinarly thorough and direct way, with a lot of great worked out examples and terrific exercise sets that increase student knowledge and insight regarding the concepts and computations. Having used both this book and Blitzer's other PreCalculus text, I can honestly say that his books for the secondary market put most of the other books out there to shame - there's really just no comparison. If you're a student who really wants to learn math, or a teacher who appreciates great support materials, then you really do have to get this text, as well as Blitzer's other texts, such as "PreCalculus". You won't find a better book out there regarding secondary/college prep math and it's teaching/ applications. 3 stars (Not a good book to study with) - I taught a course with this book and there are several typo's in the book. ... 3 stars (I expected more...) - Remember the series Playmakers on ESPN? That's pretty much what they modeled this game after. They kept some of the WWE stlyed hits (Powerbomb, bulldogs ect) The game play is ok, it takes way to long to load though. The editing players feature is kind of nice although limited. I don't care for some of the music/language in this game, and the "blood" at times seems to be a bit uncalled for. I still would have bought it, but I'll probably trade it in as soon as I beat it. 2 stars (Fun, if you can deal with waiting 12 minutes to start the game) - The title says it all, this game takes 12 minutes to load and get to the point where you can play one player campaign mode. Havent timed the two player mode load time yet, but i expect it to be very close. 1 stars (Garbage.) - Can't believe I bought this one because of the hype surrounding it. I was expecting hard hits, and such. But I was also expecting atleast some decent gameplay to go with it. Everytime I see LT in the commercials claiming this is how "real football is played", I think sellout. How can a former NFL player say real football is 7 on 7, and most tackles are closelines, and dropkicks? Haven't seen that game on tv yet. Anyways, this is a really bad simulation even for an arcade style game. ... 1 stars (Game Stunk) - This game has to be the worst football game I have ever played. All it is is mindless cursing and violence. It is just a bad copy off of NFL street. Who ever made this terrible game has to start thinking of thier own ideas and stop stealing other peoples. 4 stars (Great game, and definitly worth the money!) - Well I just picked this game up today, and have been playing for alittle while already, and so far I love it! I've had alota fun with it, and love it copared to Madden, and being honest, I almost like it better than 2K5, which up until now was my favorite football game made! So yea, if you know me, thats saying quite abit. However this is not a serious football game, if your lookin for a game thats acurate to the way football is acturlly made, this is not the game for you! But if u like to just sit down, and play a few games with your buds, go online, or play the great story mode this game is for you! 4 stars (A fun diversion from Madden.) - First off, I love Madden. For those looking for a Madden replacement, this is NOT it. However, for those that loved the NFL Blitz game, it's back and it's amped and ready to break bones and tear ligaments off of the opposing teams. This is more of a "supplement" to Madden, but a fun one IF you understand where it fits in the grand scheme of football games for the console. Remember "The League" on ESPN? This is basically it. You create a team (well, pick it's location and name, uniform style for home and away games and a stadium-style) and attempt to bring it up from the toilet-league in a 30-game season. The owner is a slime, working with the mayor to fund a new team to win the championship in a brutal league, wrought with players with rap-sheets longer than the entire Raven's roster! These players put Jamal Lewis to shame! He's a baby-candy thief compared to some of these criminals! The "Campaign" mode is where you are tasked with getting this team to the championship.
