The Abacus Description:

The Abacus is a
line counting program for MS Word 97/2000/2002. Of use
primarily to transcriptionists, the program, an MS Word Add-in, will count
gross lines, headers and footers, and/or lines as a fixed number of
characters per line. You can then save the line count in a log file which
you can view, edit, and print for billing purposes. The log file will even
total all your line counts and calculate your charges for you!
