SynchronEX is a flexible and powerful tool for synchronization and backup of files and directories in applications like laptop/server-synchronization, backup, FTP, WEBDAV, multi-point authoring with collision detection, incremental web-site file management, ZIP-in-between synchronization. For advanced usage it supports super syncs, nested syncs, remove/hard syncs, multi root syncs, one-way syncs, complex exclude and include patterns, python scripting, etc. Many additional tools are included like finding duplicate files and empty directories. SynchronEX is optimized for one-click automation. It is basically a command-line application, but you may integrate it simply into the Windows Explorer. Central to SychronEX are small sync-config-files which usually sit in the root point of the file tree which you want to synchronize or backup.
