Overview: StrongDisk Pro Standard for Microsoft Windows 2000 professional/XP 32-bit Edition is a powerful data encryption tool. It contains StrongDisk Pro core components providing encryption protection for data stored on hard disks and removable media on userĀ#s computer and additional utilities are to enforce the security level.

How it works: StrongDisk Pro Basic creates inside Windows file system protected logical drives or discs. These discs are special files or partitions of the hard disk drive. StrongDisk Pro includes the special driver, which allows you to work with the protected logical disks the same way, as common logical disks.

Encryption: Information is always encrypting "on-the-fly" while writing on such disk and decrypting while reading.

License Model: The registration information is stored in electronic key or smart card publib area. When you insert the electronic key or smart card StrongDisk Pro Standard is registered. When you remove it from your PC or laptop the version become unregistered. So you can install StrongDisk Pro Standard on many computers. If you've lost the electronic key or smartcard you have to buy the license again.

Additional Security Tools Included: StrongLogon and Burner utilities are included.

Smart Card and Electronic Key Support: You can use any PKCS#11 compliant electronic key or smart card as a protected key information strorage.
