IMS CharacterGenerator Studio MX Lite Description:

The IMS CharacterGenerator Studio MX Lite product is a companion multimedia-authoring tool-Xtra created specifically for Macromedia Director MX and Macromedia Director MX 2007. This product allows animated talking 3D characters to be very easily created and incorporated as part of any multimedia presentation or application created using Macromedia Director MX and MX 2007.

Once the product has been installed, all the user needs to do is choose a character they wish to animate, record or select a sound file to be analyzed, and the character will come to life and begin speaking automatically; including all of the appropriate corresponding facial gestures. Characters are animated entirely from the voice file. Voice files of any language, including .wav files created using a text-to-speech engine can be used to create talking characters. The product includes several standard 3D characters. Additional characters may be purchased from the IMS web site, or you can create you own characters using IMS CharacterCreator.

With the IMS CharacterGenerator Studio MX Lite product, multimedia developers can now easily integrate 3D talking characters as part of any interactive presentation or application on the web, DVD or CD-ROM.
