Fundamentals of Nursing: Concepts, Process, and Practice, Seventh Edition review:
4 stars (The book itself is well-written, however I have found errors on CD) - While the book is very readable as a whole, I have found a couple of errors with the book's accompanying CD which has practice questions on it. My instructors confirmed that the answers they said were correct were in fact wrong, and it could be proven by the text itself. If you don't care about the CD the book comes with, then you should be fine, but if you're like me and like to test yourself on what you have read, you will be disappointed by the CD. (I am going to write to the editors about those mistakes so hopefully it will be fixed on future editions.)
5 stars (Very good book!) - This book was required my first semester of nursing school and I think it was very well thought out and written. I especially loved the tables used throughout the book to help in studying for exams. I hope my school continues to have it on their required book list.
5 stars (Great Text for first year nursing students) - This was the textbook that I used for my first year in nursing school. It gives complete instructions with pictures and rationale's. It has wonderful little tables that teach you everything from patient teaching to signs and symptoms of diseases. I would highly recommended this book to any nursing student.
