Dream Sewing Spaces- Design - Organization for Spaces Large - Small Description:
Dream Sewing Spaces: Design & Organization for Spaces Large & Small review: 5 stars (Great idea book) - I went shopping for a sewing desk for my Viking Husqvarna & my Babylock serger & was surprised to find a table/cabinet/desk for both was over $1,000. This book offers some cost-effective solutions for sewing storage/workplace options & gives guidelines for sewing ergonomics. Great suggestions are also offered for storing fabric, buttons, thread, etc. Great book. 5 stars (Just What the Dr. Ordered) - This book gave me every piece of information I was seeking to design a sewing room from design arrangements to the actual height & dimensions a work surface should have. This book took into consideration all types of sewing one might do as well as tips for convenience should one not have the luxury of a separate sewing space. Specific storage suggestions and directions for building such things as thread racks were very timely for me. Dream Sewing Spaces was an extremely helpful tool. 5 stars (Great resource) - I was considering hiring a professional interior designer but I bought this book and now I don't need to. It is a great resource, including lots of ideas for creating the kind of furniture you want for your room from stock materials. I've planned my new room, and I'll put it together over Labor Day.
