DMedia Xtra is the add-on to Macromedia Director for Windows. This new Xtra makes use of DirectMedia layer of Microsoft DirectX.
Therefore it enables smooth playback and synchronization of different video and sound streams. DMedia Xtra also contains the set of
functions which allow to control Master Volume of the Windows system mixer (this control is absent in DirWin). Intended for developers of
multimedia applications under Windows 95/98.
