Menage Description:
Menage review: 5 stars (Super Hot & Super Writing) - This book was truely awesome. As a woman, I'd been afraid of this type of menage a trois, but Emma makes it feel exciting and sexy without being dirty at all. This book and Clint Arthur's "9 Free Secrets of New Sensual Power" really set a high bar for erotic writing. 5 stars (the best erotica I ever read...) - and one of the best written books I ever read too. Emma Holly has a talent to write erotica with characters you really start to care about. They have depth and in the end you can only close the book with a big smile on your face.
Also, the sex scenes are so good. With a lot of erotic novels I feel the urge to strangle someone, as the writing can be horrible, and the two dimensional characters go from one sex scene to another without any link. This book would be a great romance if you would leave half of the erotic scenes out of it.
Then again, it wouldn't be as enjoyable *grins*
This book is my first Emma Holly read, and definately not my last. 5 stars (Emma Holly Creates A Winning Combination With "Menage!") - Kate Winthrope, a bright, attractive, entrepreneurial bookstore owner, shares her Philadelphia townhouse with two hunky grad students. Joe is a sensitive composer. Sean is a bad boy accountant. Burned by her philandering ex-husband, Kate is skittish where love and commitment are concerned. Fortunately, her flatmates are able to convince her to be more open to love's more erotic components.
Close your eyes. Think of the book's title. What fantasies does it evoke? Take some time, if you'd like. Now imagine what award-winning writer Emma Holly, the mistress of contemporary erotica, does with this concept. Whatever your favorite combination is, she has it. This one's a winner - 5 Stars worth. And it even has a decent plot!
