Dynamic Laws of Prosperity

5 stars (Explosive) - This book has helped me tremendously ! Have you ever felt" stuck in a rut" in your life.Stuck financially, job wise just your whole outlook on life? Well this book will literaly blow you out of that rut and set you on a whole new path.Just be ready to commit some time and positive energy and your on your way ! 5 stars (A dynamic life changing read) - One of the most impressive things about this book is that it hits home in such a way that it makes you believe and want to believe more. You want to be prosperous, you want to make life changing decision. It is written in a way that is easy reading and I found reading a chapter a day for my first read worked well. Then I went back and read a chapter and set to work on issues involved in that chapter. I have and still recommend this book to everyone, to everyone who has a dream, and just needs that extra push in the right direction. It is a wonderful spiritual and powerful book. 5 stars (Classically dynamic) - Catherine Ponder, a Unity minister, is one of the pioneers of today's "create your own reality" phenomenon. This book is one of the first I read in this genre, way back in the early 70's. The principles are still true today and provide a solid foundation for prosperous living. Anecdotal, experiential and inspirational. Open the book at random for a quick reminder of who you are and your connection to the universal Divine principles. ...

Many Lives- Many Masters- The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist- His Young Patient- and the Pas

3 stars (An Underutilized Course Of Therapy) - Weiss' study of reincarnation as revealed by hypnotized patients is interesting but mildly superficial. It left me with many more questions than it ever attempted to answer. I also noted an instance or two when the historical settings Weiss' patients were describing did not sound historically accurate for what was actually going on in the time and place in question. (i.e. a suit of rough fur clothing in 1400's Holland?) In a few case histories, the lifetimes of a single subject overlapped. I know there are theories of parallel lives/parallel universes, but just pointing out that this did come up on occasion or two. Whether a patient hypnotically "regressed" is giving details of a valid previous incarnation or experiencing a fantasy, there is enough evidence that has been accumulated over the years to suggest regressive hypnotherapy is an effective means of healing for some people. Perhaps the spiritual aspects of "do we live numerous earthly lifetimes" should be set aside and more emphasis placed on employing regression as a method of psychological treatment. Professionals such as Weiss should be at the vanguard of a potential health-improvement tool that has been squandered for too long among New Age gurus who would keep it shrouded in pseudo-spirituality and make use of it primarily as a parlor trick. On the other hand, does understanding the root of a fear or other issue truly guarantee healing? No. I have a friend who is terrified of dogs because she was badly bitten by a German Shepherd when she was five. Does the fact she knows what caused her fear erase the phobia? No. And "knowledge equals healing" is the entire basis for past life therapy. So, maybe making more widescale use of regression therapy is not a panacea, but then again, many patients claim it worked in their lives, so perhaps it should be used more widely. My point is, it's past time hypnotherapy vacated the genre of mysticism and entered the realm ...

FabJob Guide to Become a Wedding Planner

5 stars (Wedding Planner/Coordinator Guide ) - I loved this book because it didn't totally focus on the aspect of becoming a wedding planner, but also the more silent topics. It provided me with perfect examples of purchase orders, service requests, billing, and the how to's of marketing my future business. One can apply the information in this book to almost any personal business with a little tweeking of words and services, of course.... Highly recommend the FabJob Guide to becoming anything your heart desires!!! 4 stars (Dynamite!) - For the size and intent, this is the best book on the market. If you are thiking of becoming a professional wedding planner, this introductory book covers all the things you will have to learn. What it doesn't cover in detail, it points you in the direction of where you can find more information, with recommended websites and book titles. What it won't do, however, is teach you all the minute and various specific details that apply to your market and jurisdiction. As with any business, you still have to do a lot of legwork before you can actually make any money. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know exactly what's involved in getting started. 5 stars (A very useful book) - I have just finished reading this wonderful book. The information is precisely what I was looking for to start up my own wedding planning business. Over the years I had helped family and friends plan weddings and was wondering how I could do this as a paid career. The sections on getting clients, handling vendors and how much to charge for my services was really helpful. Also I agree with the other reviewer, the worksheets like the timeline schedule and budget sheet will be very useful. I am so excited to get started! ...

Understanding Your Users- A Practical Guide to User Requirements Methods- Tools- and Techniques

5 stars (Must for usability and product design professionals) - Courage and Baxter did an amazing job writing this book, thank you! I really liked the fact that this book is based on years of realworld experiences from commerial high technology company. They have very good examples from real projects - which is a plus. Like the book said, it's very practical! You can use it out of the box from day 1. As a product design professional with years of experience in this field, book confirmed some of the techniques and approaches that I have been using (but I couldn't share it due to commerical reasons). It also covered topics that I wasn't very familiar with. I especially enjoyed reading the section on group task analysis. Book is organized very well, high quality paper, with great visual examples and photos! I would also highly recommend this book for product managers, so hopefully they can write better requirements and specifications. 5 stars (Unflinchingly practical tour de force of usability...) - Baxter and Courage provide a rich, accessible toolbox of diverse yet interrelated usability methods that will enable a designer (UI, UE, IA, etc.) to understand user goals, values, and purposes. As a design professional without a human factors background I find this incredibly useful at the office! A handy reference guide with case studies and sample projects, there is also an undercurrent of strategic thought in terms of how to approach and intepret usability methods, thus complementing the designer's iterative art. This book should also benefit design students and educators, who may be seeking a robust compilation of methods that speaks to the "real world" of adroitly performing usability to advance a design's evolution. 5 stars (A Very Usable Guide to User Requirements) - Courage and Baxter have assembled an extremely thorough, practical, and readable guide to a diverse array of user requirements methods available to the usability and design professional.
